We’re a growing company with big plans and we’re looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position, based from our office in Ellesmere Port.

Overview

Position: Project Manager

Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday. 09:00 – 17:00.

Salary: circa. £45,000.00 per annum.

The Role

As a key member of our operations team, you’ll be responsible for the overall management of several site based projects, from initial inception to successful completion. This role will also include travel to sites throughout the UK, and occasionally further afield.

Working in close collaboration with our commercial team and supported by our project coordinators, you’ll be the focal point for our site supervisors and clients throughout the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop efficient project plans, timelines and works schedules.
  • Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and managing expectations.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing demands.
  • Management of project budgets, cost control and reporting.
  • Ensuring quality control is achieved in accordance with industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks. Resolving issues and adapting programmes.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage site teams and operational personnel successfully.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within construction, engineering, or a similar industry (3 years minimum).
  • HND/HNC or Degree in construction, engineering, or related field desirable.
  • Proficient in time management and prioritising tasks.
  • Capability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel as required.
